My family loves dogs; we began using Rover in June 2106 and have several repeat customers. We have 3 children - 15, 13, and 11 willing and able to help care for your dog. We recently got our own dog since our kids did such a wonderful job with dog-sitting. She's a white german shepherd mix. We got her at 6 weeks old at Thanksgiving weekend; she's now 20 months old and weighs 75 lbs. She's a sweet, playful young dog and gets along with other dogs. We have a very flexible schedule (I work from home), large fenced backyard, and live in a very safe, dog loving cul-de-sac neighborhood. We would love the opportunity to dog-sit for you; we will treat your dog like family.

Since our regular sitter was not available on short notice, I was worried that my dog would have a tough adjusting to a new place. After meeting Edriss, his son and their dog Leah, our dog felt right at home. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Terrific service!! We were very pleased with the daily report (including pictures!) informing us of our dog’s activities, feeding schedule, and anecdotes of her stay. This family seems to be very attentive and caring and we look forward to having our pup return.
Overall, I was fairly happy with the care provided by Edriss and his family. They do have a strong active Shepherd mix dog that seemingly played well with my active shepherd. In fact, I picked up my dog Piper from their house at 9:30 a.m. And she basically slept until 5:30 p.m., so she definitely got plenty of exercise. The reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5 was that Edriss wasn't home at the agreed upon drop off time so I had to wait around 20 minutes for him. Additionally, he has a pool in the backyard, but didn't have fresh water. My dog (and his) drank from the pool, but obviously that is not good. He said he would put out fresh water, but I don't know if he did. Lastly, he sent one picture as an update. I would have preferred a few more updates. On the plus side, it is a very nice house and very clean. Their price is also dramatically lower than virtually everyone else on Rover.com. Overall, recommended if you have a big, active dog.
