 My name is Edgar and I am an animal lover! I was raised in downtown Mountain View, CA and was known in the area for my dogs and dog sitting services. I have recently moved to the Seattle area (Des Moines) My home is comfortable, large, and pet friendly! I would love for your pet to join our family in the ideal environment for comfort, safety and fun! Last minute bookings are available only with repeat clients! Punctuality is important to me. I will be on time for you and update daily for you. In return, I would like our booked appointments to be important to you as well. If you are going to be late 5-10 minutes or more, please make sure to let me know as soon as possible.
 I work from home and I will be with your dogs all day, and I am able to provide them with yard breaks throughout the day. I never leave pets unsupervised especially in my back and front yards. I am open to most breeds, however, I prefer dogs to be between 5-40 lbs. FYI: As per my situation, I am not set up to walk pups. I would definitely love to hear about a dog's personality/temperament to make sure we are a good fit (Meet & Greet) for all parties involved. I want to ensure your dog(s) have a fun and comfortable stay at my house. _______________________________________________________________________________ Important Information When Boarding Your Pet with Me: Drop-Off = D/O and Pick-Up = P/U. Promptness and communication is extremely important to me! Any delays and tardiness without reasonable-notice will not be tolerated. I will cancel on the spot if my time is wasted waiting for owners to show up. Reasonable flexibility works both ways. Any extended hours must be paid prior or during current stay through the Rover app, and there will be no refunds if you Pick-Up earlier than the designated P/U time. Contact me if and when there is an early P/U. Last Minute and Short Notices: Time constrains are a fact of life for all of us, and I am willing to be reasonably-flexible. Be aware that a last minute Meet and Greet and D/O at the same time might not work ! If there is not a good match-up the booking will be cancelled on the spot, that is why having a M&G at least a week prior to a stay day is important. Unless the dog owner has a back-up sitter, this makes no sense and it is a waste of time and effort on both parties and can result in a declined booking request. FYI: I will not hold a spot or dates without a booking. Items to Bring: For an overnight stay please make sure to bring: a crate, ONE blanket and/or bed, food, medications (if needed), leash, collar with TAGS, a harness if available, ONE toy and ONE bowl; I have plenty of water bowls. Health and Cleanliness of Your Pet: All pups must be clean and free of fleas and ticks when they are dropped off, they must be healthy; any pups with intestinal issues will be rejected. If your pup has medical issues and medication is needed while boarding with me, please provide full details of condition and instructions. The booking/stay will be cancelled on D/O day if pups(s) are found to be dirty and/or have fleas and ticks upon inspection. Proof of vaccinations is required for a booking! There will be No exceptions. Space Inspection: Requests to see the inside of my house IS NOT possible for privacy reasons – this is not a commercial facility, rather than my private home, insistence of inspecting the inside of my home may result in booking-cancelation. No exceptions! Communication: Owners are responsible for adding any relatives/friends to owner’s Rover account as alternate contacts so that everyone involved is kept up to date on any changes to the status of the booking, especially regarding D/O and P/U times. Miscommunication by owners does not constitute an urgency on my part, nor is it an excuse for missed or late P/U and D/O. I will CANCEL your dog’s booking/stay on Drop-Off day, if there is no clarity, accountability or communication resulting in unreasonable tardiness or missed appointments. Please be on time and/or keep me posted with ample notice for late or cancelled M&G’s, D/O’s and P/U’s. Tardiness and lack of reasonable communication will be considered abuse of my time and flexibility and may result in permanent rejection. Late or missed appointments will be reported to Rover.
