I have spent over seven years in dog rescue and placement. I learned to handle all types - large, small, friendly and indifferent by working with experienced trainers. I learned all the various methods of approaching dogs for the first time, establishing boundaries, rules and of course when to provide affection. I have used my own dogs to evaluate the temperament of others I have been asked to place in new homes. In addition to taking your dog or dogs for a walk, I also take time to pet them, play with them if they are ball chasers and socialize them with other dogs and people (this only at the clients suggestion). I feel that walking your dog is only part of the service as they need the loving they would normally receive from their owner so I like to provide that as part of my service. I can also take dogs 25 lbs and under to stay at my house. For larger dogs, I can stay at the owners house. I do not bring my dogs for overnight stays.
