I have a 12 year old dog myself in my home state and have 4 cats currently at my current home. I have good experience working with any age dogs. I can also take care of any size sofas well. I enjoy the dogs company and also being able to play with. I dedicate a lot of time taking care of another persons pet and make sure they get plenty of attention. I love to go out a lot and enjoy talking dogs for long walks or stopping at a park to have some fun times in the field. I’m a very active person and match the energy a dog has to play. I adore pets and believe on of the greatest things you can do as a person is be out and have a great time with a pet.

When I had a family emergency and had to leave town, with no one around who could dog sit for us and we couldnt afford a petsmart animal hotel stay, she immediately volunteered her time to help us out. She got extra toys and treats and played with our dog Rocko for 5 days and took amazing care of him. She's a super sweet woman with a heart of gold!

I always ask about medical problems, anything about their personality, if they need to avoid other dogs, and walk as long as they need it. I have a non-smoking home. I make sure to provide them with water and ask if their is specific food the owner has for them.

I have absolutely no preference on breed. I would like to know if the dog is okay with cats, whether or not that dog has a medical problem that will not allow long walks, how old, how big, routines at their house or in general, how often they eat, if they are crate trained or not, if they are allowed on furniture/beds (if not it’s to prevent bad habits from forming during their home life), rules on the house on where the dog can and cannot go, and general information/habits the dog may have.
A typical day
Playing fetch, tug-of-war, go out for a lot of walks, and be able to relax with belly rubs. Running is really big for me and making sure the dog is well exercised.

Availability
I do work part time, but I make sure to have time for the animals. I walk them as much as they need it and make sure to carry water with me for hot days. I’ll ask if they need to be separated from other dogs for safety reasons. I’ll check up at least twice a day for walks, food, water, and general care.
