I grew up raising a brown springer spaniel lab mix named Cody. I have countless memories of spending afternoons running around the yard, playing games, giving him baths, and trying to teach him tricks in the sun. Now, I take care of my girlfriend's two dachshunds and they think they are as big as a Great Dane. As a runner, I would enjoy having a furry friend to keep pace with on a walk. I have volunteered with the St.Tammany Parish Humane Society and my hometown's petsmart taking care of dogs of all sizes as well as trying to find a good home for them. I have transportation to get to locations. I'm currently a student at LSU,so my schedule may be limited on some days.
