Pet care experience

I'm an author and work from home, and my girlfriend and I have three dogs of our own. I have a few years of experience training our dogs with basic commands (sit, stay, come, heel, and a few other commands that keep them attentive but energetic and happy). Our house is a decent size with a nice, fenced back yard. With three other dogs already in our home, your dog(s) will always have friends with which to play, including myself. They have access to toys, exercise, and stimulation that will keep them sharp. If you would like your dogs to be cared for in our home, I only ask that we schedule a meet-and-greet with all of our dogs beforehand to make sure everyone gets along and that the environment will remain healthy. If you would like me to come to your home for your dog, I would like to meet your dog under your supervision to make sure we are all a good fit for one another. It's like having a child - you have to be happy with whoever's watching over them. I'm happy to help with your dog's peace-of-mind and ensuring they're as happy as they can be! I'll answer any questions you have, including anything about my techniques for teaching basic commands and ensuring they're always attentive to those commands. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you! NOTE: For daycare and boarding, I request that you contact me at least 48 hours in advance so that we may set up a meet & greet with my dogs and yours prior to the sitting dates. Dogs are territorial, and it's important that everyone meets on neutral ground for the first time to ensure they're going to get along. I want you and your dog(s) to be comfortable, and making sure everyone's happy and friendly is conducive to that. Thank you! UPDATE (September 30, 2020): Going forward, I will no longer be accepting new clients for dog boarding and daycare due to the amount of demand and repeat customers for the service. With four dogs of our own (two of which are elderly, and one of them is blind and diabetic), we're finding it difficult to introduce them to so many different pups. Repeat clients and clients already booked may still request the boarding service, as all of our dogs have already met and get along well. The service will be open again to new clients at a later date. All other services, such as house sitting, walking, and drop-in visits, are still available.

Second time using Dylan for in home sitting and he was great. My wife and I left on vacation for 7 days and we received daily updates and pictures, when we returned we couldn't tell anyone had stayed in the house, Dylan took great care and left everything very clean. Our 90 pound german shepherd and very needy cat were well taken care of. If you are on the fence about home care don't hesitate, I highly recommend Dylan.
