I've taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid. It started with my family's corgi that I grew up with, who was strong-willed and presented lots of training challenges. We then got two shih-tzus who were much more mild but were aggressive as puppies until they grew into their adult temperaments. I've always loved dogs and have missed being around them ever since I moved out to Seattle. Due to going back to work post-covid, I don't feel comfortable getting a dog until I move out to the suburbs since leaving a dog at home in a small apartment doesn't sit well with me. However I am looking to meet and care for many more lovely dogs with Rover until then.

Dylan was amazing with our dog! Sent us a bunch of cute pics, and made sure Digby felt welcome! Highly recommend!
Dylan was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures. My girl was happy and relaxed when I picked her up. Very happy with her stay.
Dylan was fantastic taking care of Whisky for me, giving her plenty of attention and exercise, while also being flexible and communicative with me.

I have a spacious one-bedroom apartment that is two blocks from a park and an adjacent dog park. The park is always popping during the days and I've never seen any issues with misbehaving dogs when walking by. I also love walking around and exploring seattle and the adjacent trails, and would love to take your dog on these adventures with me (and my lovely girlfriend). Let me know if there's anything else you want in a dogsitter and I'll do my best to accomodate you. NOTE: my apartment does have breed restrictions for huskies, Rottweilers, and pitbulls so I won’t be able to accommodate those for in-apartment boarding stays unfortunately

Mainly the breed, the age, and if there is anything that sets your dog aparts from its usual stereotype. Then I can plan out walks, activities, and the environment that your dog is going to do best in while staying with me. I have personal experience with goldens, corgis, and shih-tzus but honestly any dog is going to be a pleasure to have around.
A typical day
I live right off of Fairview Ave in SLU, so I love to take walks down to the water and around the lake or up to Seattle Center to tour around the space needle depending on a dog's energy levels.

It's covid so... yea just wfh indefinitely. i am only unavailable to ski every few weekends, so those Sunday's will be marked as absent. But other than that I have no issues with availability, In the summer I'll be hiking so if lmk if you would like me to take your furry friend on hikes and I would be happy to accomodate you, otherwise I will pass over hiking for that weekend
