I have had dogs literally since I was born! My family and I love dogs. My mother and I now live in an apartment where dogs are not allowed, so I decided to become a Dog sitter. The longest that I have had a dog for was 7 years but I have had other dogs at a minimum of 1 year. When my mom and I had dogs, I was always the care taker and she was more of the financial care taker. I would wake up around 5-7am every morning to walk my dog. Throughout the day when I run errands I would typically bring my dog just for company and bonding purposes. Also I have participated in training with my previous dog at Red Dog. I have dealt with dogs with great energy as well as dogs who prefer to cuddle and not be as active. I have learned how to deal with both dogs accordingly. I do plan to get Dog CPR trained and first aid trained.
