I have been around dogs my entire life. My family runs a walking/training business and I've helped on and off throughout the years but it didn't start there. Growing up we normally had up to six dogs (currently four) at a time, all with different stories and previously in need (we clearly had a hard time turning rescues away). All types have come through our door; big, small, old, young, energetic, calm, one-eyed, three-legged, but all with unique personalities! Learning how to train them, read their behavior, and maintain stable energy in order to keep them calm was just part of everyday life. I'm an active person (I enjoy hiking, yoga and photography) and can be seen around the neighborhood with my little chihuahua getting some sun. I can help correct poor on-leash behavior and/or give you some tips on general behavioral correction. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so expect pictures! I have seen so many instances of dogs being surrendered to shelters for fixable reasons, so in addition to walking and/or watching over your pet I'd like to serve as a resource to help support a long healthy relationship between you and your pup, so feel free to ask questions!
