I've grown up with and have been around other people's dogs of various breeds, ages, and genders since I was a teen. I used to go around the neighborhood walking our own and other people's dogs, either by myself or with my friends. The best part was meeting other people with their dogs, having the dogs play together, either with toys or chasing each other around the park. Our family's first dog was a female, high energy, off-leash mix between a German Shepard and Siberian Husky who lived till 16. Our current dog is named Jackson. He's an on-leash, friendly, and active Goldendoodle about to turn 6. I particularly like working with dogs to maintain or improve their behavior on walks and around the house, which I in turn pass on to their owner(s) as well.
