I have a 5 year old terrier chihuahua mix named Roxanne that I hang out with all day. Your dog will get plenty of human affection and dog companionship from Roxanne. I'd be a great fit for someone that wants their dog to have free reign to roam around the house and lounge on the couch or bed. But for dogs that are on a training regimen I'm happy to follow specific disciplined instructions and continue with discipline training, Potty training, etc as well. There are a couple fantastic dog parks a within a half mile walk from my house so lots of opportunities for enrichment. I have multiple bedrooms setup specifically for hosting dogs. There are also multiple outdoor spaces suitable for dogs as well. I've basically setup the house to accommodate dogs of any temperament successfully. All the surfaces in the house are quite durable so not a problem for me to host dogs that can be destructive or those that are still figuring out the potty thing. I live centrally and not far from the airport so it's an easy location for those that are flying out.
