Dustin & Crystal's Worry Free Care
Pet care experience
What to do when you can't take the whole family on vacation? We know how stressful it can be going out of town and finding a caring place for your "kids". PLEASE let us ease your mind. We are HUGE animal lovers and we would LOVE to play & care for your doggy. Our house has a fenced yard for playing during the day, we have a doggy door (which makes entering & exiting the house easy), tons of toys available for sharing & dog beds & extra blankets.
Reviews
Excellent Care. Karli was in a perfect environment, with loving & caring people. I will always use Dustin & Crystal. I was sent pictures & updates. Karli was a happy girl when we picked her up. I will never have to worry about our baby girl when I leave her with them. Thank you again for taking such good care of Karli.
It's such a good feeling to know our doggies are well cared for while we are away. Dustin and Crystal are the best!
We just love having Dustin and his family take care of our Boston terrier when we go out of town. They are very conscientious and communicate clearly which makes it much easier to go on vacations. They keep us from missing Bosco too much by sending notes and pictures 1-2 times a day. They obviously love dogs and it shows.
Cosmo has been with Dustin and his family four times now and he always loves it! He comes home happy and properly worn out from all the great play time. We can’t imagine taking him anywhere else.

You look like you deserve a break--everyone needs some time away to relax, renew & refresh! Don't stress about your dog while you are on vacation - your dog is in good hands with us :) We aim to treat them just like you would treat them at home! Being in a new place can cause lots of anxiety for dogs. We aim to make them feel comfortable and happy while you're away... there is no need to stress about them while you're away! We will send you lots of photos and videos of your pup and let you know how they're doing while they're staying with us.

Their feeding routines (how much/how often, any special quirks), if they get along with other dogs (we have two small dogs & a big puppy), where they like to sleep, any allergies, are they on flea treatment & up to date on shots, are they territorial, do they chew things, if so what?.....(please no chewing on furniture)..... We don't have breed preferences. We've dog sat many different breeds and they all provide their own personality... With that being said, we do have the most experience sitting/caring for small/medium dogs. We have two small dogs of our own, they are both dachshund but mostly keep to themselves. We also have a big puppy Gus, he is super sweet and loves to play. But if your dog doesn’t like to play he won’t bother them (he knows better). They all love to bark & sniff guest dogs at first but then calm down. We love dogs of all sizes as long as they get along with our dogs and kids.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Usually around the neighborhood we live in. We also spend a lot of time in our big backyard and dogs love to run around, explore, play fetch & sunbathe back there. Your dog's sleeping arrangement That's up to you. Some dogs sleep in our bed with us (or with our kids--they love having guest dogs sleep with them), some bring their dog beds over and sleep in those, others bring crates over and they sleep in there, or we have a couch available too. We like our guests to sleep however they are used to sleeping and we want everyone to have a good night's sleep so we will let them sleep where they are most comfortable. We know leaving your dog someplace new can be stressful for them so we try to keep their routines similar to what they'd have at home. Time I'll spend with your dog We plan on spending as much time as possible with them. When dogs stay with us they become part of our family, cuddle with us on the couch, play outside, eat, take naps, & go on walks with us. My wife and I both love dogs and try to spend as much time as we can with them. I usually work from home M-F, although occasionally I do need to go into the office and/or may be busy on zoom meetings off/on during the week. My wife's schedule varies, but generally will be home a couple days during the week and weekends. There may occasionally be times where the dogs would be left alone, indoors for a little while. It would never be longer than a couple of hours, and we have a doggy door so the dogs are able to go in and out of the house as much as they like. If you prefer we can close the back door and leave them indoors only.

We love taking care of playful and upbeat dogs because they are always keeping us on our toes. But we also like to snuggle and curl up on the couch with calm dogs too. We have a large, fully fenced-in backyard that dogs will love to run around and play in. We can also take your dog on walks around our neighborhood. We know being in a new place can cause dogs a lot of anxiety, so we try to keep your dogs routine as if they would be at home--and maybe a little more playtime and cuddles.
