Pet care experience
My dogs at home have always been my third sibling. Growing up with several type of dogs in my life, from rescue greyhounds to raising a boxer-lab puppy, I've met all kinds of dogs with all kinds of unique qualities. After moving into Boston, MA, I built a small group of dogs that I cared for over several years. While living in Portland, I was able to continue the trend of meeting new families all around southern Maine. Now that I'm back in Massachusetts, I'm excited to pick up where I left off - by meeting people, exploring the south coast, and playing with dogs. I have 20+ years of experience living with dogs, as well as 7 years of dog walking, and 6 years of dog sitting. I'm very happy to accommodate your pets needs, whatever they may be! I can't wait to meet your dogs and keep the streaks going!
Reviews
Duncan was marvelous. He and my dog bonded immediately. Duncan was respectful of me, my home and my dog. I recommend him highly.
Super nice guy, very communicative and responsive. Very affectionate with out kitty cat. Unfortunately, he forgot our instructions for providing water, and didn’t give our pet any water for the first 3 days of our absence. He texted and asked if cats get their water from their wet food. Went and fixed the issue right away the next day. But it definitely concerned us that our pet had no water for that long, and it was clear he hadn’t had much experience with cats. Everything went totally great for the rest of the week stay though. Overall a decent experience, but we felt compelled to mention this issue.
Duncan has been working with our adult dog that has a history of fear-based aggression. Duncan has been kind and patient working with our dog to gain his trust and build confidence in the relationship. Duncan has been excellent about communicating with us to schedule visits and give feedback on progress. I would highly recommend Duncan for any type of dog!
Duncan was beyond professional in both the meet and greet and while staying at my home. His medical background and experience working at a major animal hospital made him the perfect choice. Hie left my home in perfect condition and communicated throughout my absence making being away from home stress free. 100% pleased and satisfied.

My goal is to leave your house in the same condition I found it in.I understand that a person's house is very sacred and I don't want to disturb it! I've found that when staying at someone's house, I work best with a quick tour and a write-up of how you do things, e.g. where things go, what day trash is, what not to do, etc.

Their unique personalities. No two dogs are the same, and it's important to me that my relationship with them is built around who they are. Quiet dogs need different love than active ones, and as someone new coming to meet them, I want to make they that I'm able to start earning their trust immediately.
A typical day
My goal is to accommodate you and your family (including pets!) as much as possible. For many animals, changes in routine and having new people in the house can be challenging at first. To make the transition to a new person as easy as possible, I let you and your dog tell me your schedule and it is my job to meet it. Walks at 6:30am? Sure! Lounging on the couch? I'm your guy. Swimming in the ocean? Let me grab my wet suit. I'm still new to the Attleboro area, but I have been exploring all the parks and beaches in the area. In the past, I've found success with having 3 walks in a day, including 1 really long walk around dinner time and a quick one prior to bed. The rest of our time together is determined by your dog and whatever you think is best for them.
