Hello! My name is Dru (she/her) and I have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I love meeting people and their furry kids! I love dogs and cats equally and provide over the top service for you and your beloved pets. Pet care is my passion and I would love the opportunity to meet you and provide care for your family. I am available for pet sitting in the Ventura, CA area. I have worked in veterinary clinics (emergency and family practices) and have volunteered at animal rescue shelters. Dru is fantastic! She has great energy & my kitties warmed up to her right away. She has a lot of knowledge w/ cats, their behavior and care preferences. I appreciate that she wanted to spend extra play time w/ them. Dru went above and beyond when she noticed a few ants on my counter. She is proactive and conscientious. A total pro!

Dru was wonderful with my two dogs! I asked her to come by for a meet and greet which she was so kind to do. She watched them while I was out of town and unfortunately my flight had a major delay. Dru was VERY flexible and accommodating. So when your travel plans go side ways (which is already stressful) it was so nice having peace of mind knowing she could stick around and care for the dogs. She rearranged her schedule so she could come back later in the day to take the dogs out again until I got home, much later than expected. Did I mention I have a senior dog and a young one with crazy energy, so they are hard to handle. Dru has become my go-to. I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a reliable and trust worthy house/pet sitter.
I am so grateful that I found Dru. She was absolutely wonderful and took excellent care of my cats and my home. The photos and videos she sent were not only comforting, but seriously some of the best pictures I have of Dottie. I have a kitty that is a nervous Nellie and she left some rather unpleasant surprises for Dru to clean up, but Dru was wonderful and actually called and let me talk to the cats over the phone and she cleaned up the "accidents" without complaint. It was nice to come home to a home that was as clean as when I left it. I could tell that the cats felt supported because they went right back to their normal routines easily and weren't excessively needy, so I think they enjoyed the time spent with Dru. Thank you Dru for taking such excellent care of my precious kitties in my absence. If you are looking for a wonderful pet sitter, you should definitely contact Dru. She is fantastic!!!!!!
