Pet care experience
At 8 years old we adopted our first dog which was a German Shepherd. Being the baby in my family it became quickly apparent how much I loved dogs and animals in general. Now at 29 - I still an immense love for animals of all kinds. I find them to be very therapeutic and I have the ability to connect with them in a way not everyone can. Animals can always tell when someone has a good heart and that's something they pick up on right away with me. I find it fun and I'm unable to currently have my own pet so that's when someone suggested this! :)

I cannot say enough great things about Drew. It feels so great to leave my 3 four-legged children in such great hands. Drew cares for my kids like they’re his own and checks in often, sending pics and updates on how they’re doing. He’s very reliable, responsive, and follows directions well as far as administering medication. My kids don’t even miss me when I come home, that’s how I know they were in great hands! I strongly recommend Drew for all your dog care needs.
Drew has a genuine love for animals. When he has watched our pups in the past, he makes sure to check in and keep us updated. We always trust that he will provided them with lots of love and make sure they are well taken care of. I would highly recommend him to take care of your pets.

I have a friend whose mom actually went to college in New York for grooming animals. She now is a local groomer out in Youngstown, OH and also shows her German Shepherds. I've learned a lot from her over the years. One thing I take seriously is respecting people's own methods for caring for their pets. Whatever schedule or routines you have for them I will adhere to. I also have friends that foster pets that can testify to how gentle and loving I am with their dogs. You can rest assured knowing they'll be taken care of.

What they don't like. If there's anything in particular that triggers someone's pet, that's extremely important to know. Otherwise I can pretty easily gauge what they like.
A typical day
First thing I would do is see if there's anything my client wants me to do with their pet. If not, I would probably start with a short walk and then play with them a bit at home before letting them do their own thing. I'm pretty intuitive with pets and if they're social or not social so what I do depends highly on this factor.

Availability
I recently moved back to Cleveland from Denver. I'm waiting until January to find a full-time 9-5 and currently supplement income with food delivery and soon [hopefully] Rover. I can be flexible and want to work whenever's best for my clients.
