How do they perform when off of a leash in a dog park-type setting? Does the owner want any training performed? Any particular skills/behaviors that should be stressed and worked on? Does the dog have any medical issues? Any allergies to be aware of? Am I allowed to give them treats throughout our session? If particular treats are to be used, will they be provided? Sometimes I will get down on the ground and play/wrestle with dogs in the same way that they often do with each other. Is this an OK activity? Depending on the dog's personality and how they were raised, this may or may not be an acceptable behavior. I am most familiar with Golden Retrievers, but have exposure to many other breeds. I do best with energetic, well-behaved dogs, but am comfortable with any type of dog.

Walks can be done through neighborhood streets, a dog park, and/or dog-friendly trails. Other activities can involve walks, rope toy tug of war, fetch, catching a tennis ball or a frisbee, and/or running. As I learn more about specific dogs and their personalities, our routine will be modified to suit them individually.
