Pet care experience
Hello fellow dog lovers. I have many years experience with all breeds of dogs with all different temperaments. I'm looking to make some furry friends--I have been volunteering with multiple rescues and sadly just said goodbye to my lab of 14 years. I'm happy to watch your pet in your home, so your dog can enjoy his familiar surroundings. When you choose me as your sitter, it is all about the dog. If your dog is aging and would like some extra loving that is great and if your dog is a more energetic that's great too--I can care for them all. I always say the dog trains you as much as you train the dog. Making new dog friends is great because dogs can’t fake it. They either like you or you don’t. Nothing beats the feeling of meeting a dog and feeling a bond right away. It’s one of the biggest perks of the job! Listening and communicating, I believe is the best way to provide excellent customer service. You can always learn something. Let's set up a meet and greet to learn more about each other. A typical day
What we do is totally dependent on the dog and the owner. I have dogs that love walks. I have dogs that require walks. I have dogs that just run around the back yard. The owner and the dog dictates as to what to do with the dog. I keep the schedule as close as possible to what the dog is accustomed. I have a few favorite spots in town to walk dogs. It really depends on what the owner and dog does. I have dogs that do well in dog parks and other dogs that do well on a walk around the neighborhood. If the dog is great on walking on trails then that is where we go and not to a dog park. The important things is not to force my idea for walking on the dog.
