Pet care experience
I am an active rescue-dog owner who loves to enjoy the outdoors with my four-legged friends! I am physically fit, with an extensive background in weightlifting so I'll have no trouble handling bigger and more rambunctious dogs. Your dog will be in safe and capable hands! I have owned, walked and dog-sat dogs for more than half my life. I feel comfortable with any kind of dog and can adapt my attention/activities to each animal's specific needs. I'm also available for basic house cleaning if needed, along with food and medicine administration. I can send photo and/or video updates to you while I walk, visit or sit your pet! Their health, happiness, and safety are as important to me as that of my own family and my own dog! I love working with dogs, and can't wait to meet yours!

We love Drew! He is kind, compassionate, reliable, very active, and brilliant! He helped exercise our elderly Labrador, Mr. Tumnus, on a regular basis and Tumnus adored him. When he was in his last months of life, Drew helped with care taking and giving lots of love, for which we are so grateful. His strong bond with his excitable pup Charlene is wonderful and she is a very happy dog due to all the exploring and hiking they do. I would trust Drew with any dog and would highly recommend him as a sitter/walker/explorer!
Drew has a very special affinity to pets and just loves both pets and children. As a small child, Drew had pets and demonstrated that he was very responsible to always spend time with them as well as walk the dog and clean up after him. What separates Drew from others is that he has a special talent for working with people, is a very good conversationalist and develops great relationships. He is very responsible and has a great understanding of other’s needs. Drew is a strong physically fit person and would have no problem handling large dogs. I would trust Drew with my pets and would have no problem with leaving my pets with Drew for extended periods of time.
Drew has loved dogs since he was old enough to know what they were. His grandparents owned an Irish Wolfhound when Drew was very small and he played with him like he was a pup. He has always been kind and loving to both animals and children. He’s a very loving, gentle man and dogs respond to him in kind. He’s a friendly, fun guy who loves to hike with his own dog and who would never, ever mistreat any animal. I would absolutely trust him with my own dog and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a caring, loving, part-time companion for their special family member.
I’ve known Drew for years and can testify for his character. He is a compassionate human being and extremely loving and responsible dog owner. His interactions with his dog ( a rescue dog from Hurricane Harvey) are loving and firm and a joy to see. Drew is extremely intelligent and physically fit and strong. He knows the importance of exercise for humans and dogs alike. I would recommend him to anyone.

I'm happy to take the dog wherever the owner prefers: around the neighborhood, into the trails, etc. We can also visit a local park to enjoy a rousing game of fetch or a hard-fought tug-of-war match!
