Dr. Lizie's Carrollton Dog Care

Pet care experience

With a natural love for dogs and animals, I have an intuitive ability to understand their needs. My service dog, Rio always received the best care and attention, with twice daily walks (approx. 2 hrs/day in nature/outdoors), top notch organic nutrition, behavior training and regular holistic maintenance of health and hygiene. Having trained Rio to be a very well behaved dog in all circumstances, I can assist with mild to moderate behavior modification, as well as other specific training needs your dog may have. Rio has passed and is no longer with us. I'm a certified animal adjustor, and have extensive professional training in caring for and handling pets of all sizes, from rabbits to horses... and particularly dogs. Within my scope of practice, I may also be able to assist with your pets healthcare needs. Over the past 25+ years, I've taken care of many dogs and pets... both in their home as well as at my home. Dogs require a minimum of 45 minutes per day of walking, and we meet or exceeded this minimum.. a tired dog is a happy dog! I provide a safe, calm and friendly environment for dogs. Need meds? Need extra attention? Need extra love? On or off leash training? No problem! I'll take very good care of your pet, as if my own. ;) Your dog must be proven to be good with young children for us to consider hosting. Thank you for understanding.

I will definitely seek out Lizie's service again. I had no misgivings about the welfare of my golden while I was out of town. The photo updates were a plus.

Information Dr. Lizie P. would like to know about your pet

My preference is for calm and very friendly breeds: Labs, Retrievers, Dobie's and snuggly doggies. If your dog is "a barker," we may not be the best host to accomodate. I require dogs to be house trained, meaning, they are not going to chew up toys/furniture - with the exception of puppies under 6 months - I can manage a puppy's needs in this way and help to teach them.

A typical day

Dogs require a minimum of 45 minutes per day of walking, and we meet or exceeded this minimum.. a tired dog is a happy dog! For this reason, I am sure they get enough free play as well as play that is lead, to bond with them and teach them.
