Professional Dog Sitter

Pet care experience

There's a new culture forming! Dog culture! Lol. But it is one where human culture is interacting with the burgeoning dog care needs. While doggos are learning norms of behavior that are appropriate for interaction on more and more fronts of our society, and humans are learning to adapt and enjoy this new dog society. I facilitate these interactions with playfull, gentle, thoughtful, mindfulness and a deep understanding of the dog's needs, guided by love and leadership. These opinions are informed from raising three dogs over the last 20 years; a toy breed (which need extra special attention for safety), a medium sized energetic very intelligent alpha female who needed a lot of activity and attention, and a large breed very healthy 18 year old neutered male who was just the best good boy ever.

Douglas is awesome. I have an extremely high energy working line malinois and an elderly dog with special needs. They are not the easiest pair to take care of and he was great with them, very communicative, and sent photos and updates. My house was in good shape when I returned. And my dogs seem very happy and well cared for. Thanks again Douglas!
