Pet care experience
I got a Beagle when I was 9. Truthfully I was a crappy lazy owner and my Mom did all the work. Fifty years later I have 2 quiet companion dogs with great attitudes.

A typical day
I do not 'walk' dogs on a leash. I 'run' them across the yard with my fast dog. I speak to each dog quietly by name. I reinforce 'come' & 'sit' with treats. I think they deserve to hear soft words and not harsh.

I work from my home office [remote]. I walk the house and yard every couple hours with 'my good boys'. I call all animals by their names and provide treats.
