Doug actually did an "in-house" watch to take care of our dog Exo. We were thoroughly impressed not only by how well he took care of Exo but by the fact that we came home to our house being in the same condition that we left it in. He even pulled our trashcan back from the curb which was extremely thoughtful and obviously something he didnt have to do. So often it's the little things. I will gladly use Doug's service time and time again as long as he'll have us!!

Reliable, fun and our dog loves Doug! Our dog, Rylie, has a lot of separation anxiety and is rarely away from us. She’s a younger dog (just over 1 years old) and was a stray we got fairly recently. After having Rylie for about two months, we were really nervous to leave Rylie for a weekend trip. A friend recommended we get to know Doug when we described our need to find a reliable and fun caretaker for Rylie for an upcoming trip we had. When we first met with Doug about potentially taking care of Rylie, we learned that he has three dogs and is the primary caretaker for an older dog, in particular. We felt like Doug showed a lot of care and attentiveness to the specific needs of dogs. He also has a young, extremely active hunting dog that we felt shared similar energy and characteristics with Rylie. Based on Doug’s experiences with dogs and his calm, confident demeanor we felt like we could rely on him. We were right! When Doug watches Rylie she has so much fun and forgets we ever left her. Rylie loves how much special attention Doug provides her, like playing at her favorite park for much longer than we generally do. He even introduced her to her first pup-occino as a special treat (he cleared it with us first). Rylie is an active dog and requires a lot of play. Doug is great with her and has helped reinforce the obedience lessons we’ve instilled, like sitting before we throw the frisbee again. We’re really happy with how much Rylie has come to trust and love Doug. We’ve already asked Doug to watch our fur baby for a week because he’s the only one we know Rylie would feel safe and happy with while we’re gone.
