We live in a neighborhood filled with other dogs and safe for walking, and have a two-level house where dogs are free to roam and make themselves at home. Senior pooches need not go upstairs, there are plenty of comfy spots to sleep, play and lounge on the first level. Dogs can safely romp in our fenced back yard, that includes some grass, some woods, some garden, a small gravel patio, a small brick patio and a shed. Atticus *loves* making friends and he is extremely easygoing and fun. His typical day means getting up early with us, going for a turn around the neighborhood (including a section on a wooded trail), followed by breakfast. After that his day is a mix of playtime with one or more neighborhood dogs and solo time in the backyard or in the house with plenty of toys. At a minimum he goes for another walk in the evening after dinner, but most days he also gets 1 or 2 more strolls and some days a trip to the dog park. Week-ends are special fun days with a long hike in the woods at Jug Bay or other nearby parks. We look forward to sharing our home with your furry friends!
