Hi, I am Doti, a dog walker covering mainly South of Edinburgh. As an owner of a lively Westie, I know that daily walks don't only provide our dogs with good exercise but are great for our pooches minds too! An active dog has less behavioral issues and lives a happier life. We are based in Gilmerton. We have a secure garden and many great places for long walks around. Every pet that I look after gets lots of exercise, positive reinforcement, verbal praise and an occasional treat. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need to discuss any additional requirements regarding your dog care. I hold a Canine First Aid Certificate, Dog Behaviour and Training Certificate and are happy to provide references on request. I will do my best to customize our care to your pet's needs and send daily updates so you will know what your pooch is up to. I can only accept neutered dogs (unless puppies). SERVICES OFFERED Dog Walking 15£ 1-hour walk (with pick up& drop off EH17/partly EH16) +12 an additional dog Dog Day Care 24 £ (Weekend rate 26£) Our day care includes daily walk to various parks, playtime in a secure garden, inclusion in basic training, chances to socialise with other friendly dogs, supervision and lots of positive reinforcement. Dog Boarding 27£ 24-hour care weekday (Weekend rate Friday-Sunday 29£ for 1 night) 2 nights regardless of the day of the week 27£ per night. We ask all our clients to make sure that their dog is up to date with all vaccinations including Kennel Cough. Please make sure you send me a photo or an email confirming vaccinations. We only accept neutered dogs, small and medium size. Please let me know of everything that you feel is important to take good care of your dog as you know them the best!
A typical day
What we do on a typical day? We go 4 walks - to Craigmillar Castle Park, Mortonhall or Blackford Hill. Dogs have plenty of playtime in our secure garden and are included in some basic training e.g. recall, sitting for a treat, waiting for their turn etc. They get some yummy treats, lots of attention, supervision and company of other pooches. There is time to relax too and are fed of required.
