I have worked at the Holiday Barn and volunteered at an Animal Shelter out in Powhatan called "Second Chance". I do not believe it is in operation anymore. I have had a dog in my life since I was four years old. I have had five dogs of my own since. I had three dogs at one time and all were loved equally. I now am a proud Mom to a four year old German Shepherd, named Ranger. All of my dogs have been rescue dogs, except for Ranger. He was a gift for my 12 year old Son. I try to walk Ranger everyday. He loves being able to run, so I take him to Gordon Elementary/Monacan High School. Ranger has been trained at the Holiday Barn and has a remote collar. It keeps him in shape as well as me.
