I genuinely care about your pet(s). I have been a pet owner or provided care for pets pretty much most of my life. I have cared for my own pets and lots of friends' pets. When the word got out that I was available to housesit I was often booked out months in advance. (I had to stop for a time due to full time care for my mom) I am an animal lover. I grew up on a farm in Oregon. I feel very sensitive to pets' needs especially when their loved ones are away from home. From years of experience, I tend to notice early on if an animal has something going on. One cat owner had to leave the country and her cat had just come back from vet and was not eating. I switched up the food and got the cat to eat and the owner was happy to see the improvement when she got home. I would rather catch something immediately, be it with a pet or with the house or property. My long term (6 weeks to Europe) clients were happy to see pictures of the dogs singing with me and happy to see how calm all the cats and dogs were upon return. PLUS their flight was delayed 2 days and they were happy that I had left room in my schedule so that all their pets were safe and well cared for while they were in Spain. I am clear and direct in my communication style. Raised in Oregon, lived in Hawaii for 10 years then returned to Oregon to raise my family. I’ve been exploring in Italy, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti. As a homeowner with a home based business, I feel I truly understand your needs for a reliable, orderly and trustworthy sitter in your home. I have relied upon others to stay in my home and love on our pets. My disposition is outgoing, friendly. I’m self aware. I am easy to work with and trustworthy.
