Pet care experience
*** I am not currently accepting new clients. If you are a repeat client and see my calendar shows unavailable, feel free to reach out. I may be able to accommodate your baby*** I've had pets all my life. Pets are family to me and are taken care of accordingly. I also have a family member in the veterinary medicine field for 18 years, at my fingertips I have been pet/house sitting for a few years as an escape from family at home. The 2 legged kind 😘 I am on an extended work leave after corporate burn out. Now I do things I'm.passionate about, like gardening and taking care of fur babies for a little side cash. I have a huge fenced yard, but would still keep an eye with anyone elses pet. I do have a 6 year old large dog who loves all kinds of animals and is a protective care giver as well. Pets will be fed according to your schedule needs. I don't like the idea of crates, but I do have a large one if your pooch prefers that safe feeling.

Once again, Doreen exceeded my expectations caring for our pups while we were away on a 2-week vacay. She came as scheduled, fed them, played with them, gave them love, and took care of our house better than any other sitter has. I know this is what she’s getting paid to do, but she continues to exceed my expectations because no one else has been that thoughtful, attentive, and reliable. She was under the weather herself and still found a way to drop in twice a day to care for the pups. I would’ve never expected anyone to do that, but she did and gave us peace of mind while we were away. No wonder the pups adore her.
Absolutely best human and dog sitter ever! The most kind, compassionate, and caring person. We couldn't be happier or more grateful for Doreen and the care she gives our boys (Dobbs and Cannoli).

Doreen is the best dog sitter around! The amount of love, attention, and knowledge she puts into taking care of your furbabies is like nothing else. Our dog, Dobbs, could not love her more nor could we. She is more than our dog sitter, she's our friend. :)

Weather permitting, the dogs generally prefer to be outside. I keep an eye on them out there as much as inside. The yard is fully fenced, but I have chickens so I’m very tuned in. Each dog is an individual and if they aren’t happy being with the pack, I will offer them to either hang with me, or they have a crate they can go in if they want. If I’m doing drop ins at your home, I will strictly follow your care instructions.

If your baby has any special needs or requires medication, please let me know. My own pet takes 3 meds 2x a day so I am familiar with how important a schedule is for that.
A typical day
Feeding will be determined by you. Your fur baby will get plenty of potty breaks and time to run in a large fenced yard. I will take a boarded dog for one walk per day and give them lots of cuddles.

Availability
I’m home all day, with the exception of locals errands. My day is devoted to providing quality care to the pets I have here. They are all on a pretty good schedule/routine for feedings, playing and potty breaks.
