In the past, I had owned a cocker spaniel that I showed in obedience & she got her CDX. I have cared for many friends dogs several times while they were on extended vacations and they were on meds and I had to be sure they were given in a timely manner. I fostered about 10 dogs over the years in my home. I have a good area to walk around. Walks, tho, will depend on weather, heat and my knees. I am retired so I am at home during the day. I really enjoy dog companionship and look forward to having a dog in my home. I do prefer crate trained dogs but that isn't absolute. I must have kid friendly dogs since I have a great-grandson living with me during the week. I look forward to learning about breeds of dogs with which I am not familiar. I do require a meet n greet before booking so do not take last minute requests for new clients. Arranged pick up and drop off at just about any time is good for me. I have a fenced in back yard for pup to run and play. I keep lock on gate so no one can come in without me knowing. I do stay outside with pup when he/she is outside. My front entrance is double doored (front door and storm door) for safety. I also have a gate to entryway. All to protect pup from getting out. I keep water in various locations and treat your pup as my own when I have her/him. Terra is a professional groomer and has been grooming for 6 years. She can have your pup looking and smelling good upon pickup. She can give the full treatment or just nails and or ears...a cut or just a bath.
