I own 2 dogs, a pom and a beagle. I recently cared for an American Staffshire, who just had hip surgery, and a Border Collie; along with 2 cats and fish, for a 2 week stretch. I am a retired nurse so I can clean and change dressings if your dog has had surgery. I can give simple oral meds if dog takes them easily. I will not force dog to take the meds. I am at home most of the time and when I have errands, my husband, Roger, is at home. He will spoil your dog. We live on 1.1 acres with woods in the back of property with a camping area set up. The area is full of rabbits, squirrels, and sometimes deer. Dogs love sniffing in the woods. ***Rover calculates price by the night. If you pick up your dog after 10AM, I reserve the right to add half my usual charge for the day of care.
