Pet care experience
I love caring for dogs! I'm well aware it's a big responsibility - one I take very seriously. I make sure dogs in my care are well fed, walked regularly outdoors, and feel spoiled with attention. I've looked after dogs for 5+ years and am comfortable with most breeds. I always respect the owner's preferences / routines for their pet, and am easy to communicate with / reach, if ever needed. I provide Doggy Day Care during the week and Dog Boarding most weekends. Activities I do include: regular dog walks; scheduled feedings/meal times with plenty of water; play and cuddle time - toys welcome! I maintain a clean, organized and comfortable space for your pet. If your pup requires special care, I am more than happy to work with you and the pet you love. I always strive to make your dog feel safe when their owners are away.

This was Hachi's first stay with Donna and we couldn't have been more pleased. Donna was very accommodating in terms of Meet & Greet in addition to drop-off & pick-up. Donna was great letting us know how Hachi was doing during his stay and we were happy to receive the photos she sent to us each day. Hachi was well taken care of and we could see that he was happy to be with her. We look forward to having a future stay with Donna.
This is my Pomeranian’s 3rd stay with Donna and I could not recommend her more! She is quick to respond, flexible and cares for my dog as if he was her own. I know Marco is in great hands when he is staying with her.
Donna was great with my French Bulldog! I was nervous leaving him with a stranger but in the end I had nothing to worry about.
Donna was flexible and fun for my pup. We came in from out of state and she watched him while we spent the day in the city. The dog was definitely well cared-for and happy. Donna made sure to ask about his preferences and routines and followed them to the letter. She sent pictures and communicated the perfect amount - not too much and not too little. If I'm in the city again I will definitely use Donna to watch my dog.

I live in an alcove studio (L shaped) and there is a decent amount of floor space for a dog to roam around or rest. I keep it simple - I'll play fetch, cuddle, or have them on the couch beside me while watching TV.

Information dmulchand would like to know about your pet
I would like to know that your dog is fully potty trained. It's important that I don't have to worry about pee or poop in my home (unless they're really good with pee pads). Does your dog chew on shoes, pillows or furniture? Does your dog require any special care? Otherwise, open to all breeds!
A typical day
Madison Square Park is 15 mins away, with a dog park. Walking along the East River is also nearby. There is also a dog park not far from the UN.

Availability
When I'm available on weekdays, I typically work from home. I'm on calls regularly throughout the work day with breaks in between, which I use to take dogs for a walk within the immediate neighborhood (10 blocks max). After work (usually ~6pm), I have more flexibility to venture farther. Please note that I do not move around my work calls / schedule to accommodate things such as running pet errands. I have more flexibility after work hours and on weekends. If I board dogs on the weekends, I keep my schedule fairly open to make room for walks, play time, and/or take them to a nearby dog park. If I have to leave your dog at home alone, I keep it to no longer than 5 hours away at a time; reasons include: errands such as grocery shopping, dropping off dry cleaning, and meeting friends for a meal.
