Pet care experience
I live in a house with a very large fenced in backyard behind an avocado orchard, (lots of room to play), only about 15 minutes from Ventura. My house is free to roam with lots of beds and coaches to lie on. I have been with animals all my life and always enjoy their company. I have been a member of Ventura Kennel Club and have volunteered with the new no kill kennel in Santa Paula. I will take up to four dogs at a time, which gives me time to give individual care to each animal visiting; in a calm and caring home setting. Your pet will be treated to a home away from home. I also take older dogs or special needs dogs that would not do well in a cage kennel and may need that individual care. Your pet may go on long walks twice a day and will get lots of tranquil and loving care. I do Day-Care, weekends and Holidays, I will gladly accommodate to your pet’s needs and wants. Please call for home visit, limited openings available Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life. Growing up on large house our family always had a couple of dogs. I later joined the Ventura Kennel Club, to visit with other people's dogs and learn individual behavior. Working at a Church I volunteered at the local shelter to help socialize large Pit bulls. Now I have dogs in my home which I enjoy more then ever! Meet my pets About my yard I have a very large backyard that is totally fenced in, over 12 feet high all around. There is a large green grass area, running room all around. In back of the fence are avocado trees. Your pet will be able to go outside to roam and allow to come into the house at anytime they want. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication if the animal is comfortable letting me handle them.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I take your dog twice a day with my dog around the neighborhood and by the avocado orchards. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Depending on your dog needs, you may want your dog in a crate, if that what you want or provide. I have a day bed near a doggy door or in the living room on the coach or dog beds. If your dog gets too lonely I sleep with your dog downstairs. Time I'll spend with your dog I plan to spending the whole time with your dog, since the dog will be living with me at my home. I want to make sure the dog is totally at ease with their surrounding before I go anywhere. If I do go out it will be very short time, but I like to be with your pet the whole time of their visit. Who ever you choose as a sitter please make sure that it is a safe environment for your pet. Accidents can happen most of the time when your dog is not fully supervised. Most accidents happen when there are children under six years old in the pet sitter's home.
