Pet care experience
I have had to retire early and since have completely revolved my life around my furry best friends. I do not have another job or school. I am focused on giving my full attention to your pet in involving them along with mine in walking the beautiful trails around my home, I give the special attention the little ones need. I have a West Highland Terrier(Westie) Your dog will be in the most loving caring hands possible. Warning, I do tend to spoil a little... About this sitter: I love animals and I provide a safe living environment. I also make sure they have exercise so please bring lease. I have a special place in my heart for animals as they are dependent on us and deserve love and care Why I love dog sitting Since I was in Real Estate early 2000's. I showed many homes with animals and encountered many and just yearned to have a dog. I ran into a westie one day upon delivering my flyers and just fell in love with this breed. I studied them and then put money down on one that was not yet born through a reputable breeder. My little black one started out being my daughters as she was having a rough time going into adult hood, college, ect.. This little one quickly became attached to me. My adult daughters visit and love being with dogs when they come over. I had grown up wit cats and still also love cats and have made it my mission for the cat and dogs to get along. I got a rescue cat through a local shelter that has $10.00 specials every month on different cats every month. June was Tabby month. The dogs and I go for daily walks as they need their exersise. We also go to the dog park which is close by. The dog park out here is a new one and does have a divided area for small dogs and large dogs. Meet my pets 2 dogs 1 cat. A Weston and a mix of min pin, chiwawa and Boston terrier and a tabby cat About my yard I have a large patio. Yard is not big but not too small. Plenty of open space to run around, play, potty, ect. I have a big insulated dog house specially made by my mother. Grandma likes to visit:) Yard is all the way fenced in. I keep a little pool in the back an lotsa toys in and outside the house.

Donna was great! She took wonderful care of my two cats. They were well fed and she was able to play with them as well. She help everything tidy and nice for when we got home. She took many pictures and gave us constant updates. I was able to fully enjoy my trip because I was never worried about my babies. ????
Will leave Rosie with Donna again! Rosie was playing with Donna's dog Dusty when I got there to pick her up. Donna sent pictures and kept me posted while I was gone. Will refer Donna to friends!
Donna was excellent and took great care of my pup. She sent updates every day and it was great knowing my dog was so well cared for while I was away. I would definitely rebook with Donna.
Donna was excellent! From the time we met for a meet & greet until I I was back home, I felt assured she would take good care of my pooches. And she did. She sent me daily updates with pictures, played with them and left my house very neat and clean. I hope to have her sit for me whenever I need a dog sitter. She is AWESOME!

My experience has been mostly in my home while my pet parents go out of town, however I do house sitting with pets near to my home if that is preferred. I recently downsized to a lower level condo. I still take the dogs out every 2 hours. I also love cats and have cat parents who hire me for drop ins ant their home while they are out of town.bedroom ons required to be somewhat close to where I live. Ie to a back disability I have a 25-30 Pound pet limit however that’s what makes this job perfect for me. I hang out with the dogs. I’m rarely gone from my home. I treat them all the way I would want mine to be treated and want them to feel loved and cared for.

Information I would need would be current shot and preventative medicines from your vet. Temperant of dog and personality as each dog is different and has different needs. My westie is quite independent and stubborn and that is his breed. I would not be trying to change your dogs personality if it is not the same as another type of dog. I am good at studying the different breeds as to know what to expect when they are in my care and to be prepared.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I will take them down the street that leads to several trail. There are paved and dirt ones. I try to change up the route. I take my time and allow the furry little guys to explore. I prefer walking them on the harness leashes as I don't like pulling on the neck. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I can set up a bed that I have in my room for him/her or if he/she is used to sleeping with the ower/owners then they can sleep on the bed. King sized bed. Time I'll spend with your dog All day!

I’m completely dedicated to this job when I’m caring for animals, I only care for one client at a time since I have a dog of my own. I love cats also and have clients I do drop in for when they are out of town.
