Pet care experience
I currently have a cat, that is a rescue. He is very affectionate and friendly. He loves belly rubs, and he very vocal. I had a Chocolate Labrador for 15 years, and loved taking him on long walks in local parks. He enjoyed walks, swimming and trips to the beach. I love all dogs, and love the unconditional love that they give. I believe that dogs need companionship, exercise and love. My dogs have always slept with me. My Labrador was crate trained, and I also taught him basic commands, stay, sit, shake. I believe that dogs need gentle yet firm discipline, and do better when they know what the rules are. As a child I had a bulldog and a cocker spaniel. I have taken care of my mom's dogs, and have included pictures of them. They are both smaller dogs, a rat terrier and another small mixed bred dog. I have also taken care of my neighbors pets, and friends pets including cats, dogs and rats. I even babysat an iguana while a co-worker was out of town for two weeks.

I love all dogs, but have a soft spot for Labradors and other large dogs. How many hours are you away from home on a typical day? Is your dog on any medications? Does your dog have any allergies? Who is your vet? What activities does your dog enjoy, does he have a favorite toy or treat? How many times of day do you feed your dog? Does your dog have any fears, thunder, lightening, other animals?
A typical day
I will take your dog to Dick Nichols park, or a park near your home. I will cuddle with your dog, and give him/her treats. We will play with toys, and spend lots of time together. I love Red Bud Trail Park and the dog parks in Austin. I work from home so we will spend lots of time together. My cat loves people but isn't a fan of dogs, so I would be sitting with your pet in your home. I will send you updates daily on how your dog is doing, and will include pictures of the fun we are having. When your dog is with me, you can enjoy your time away from home guilt free, knowing that he is getting lots of love, and is having a great time.
