Pet care experience
I was raised with large dogs and horses. While attending college I worked as a veterinarian technologist. After a career in publishing in NYC, I moved to Long Island, NY where for 12 years I had my own business providing boarding, walking and grooming services. My husband and I are both early retirees. This gives us more time to indulge our shared passion and our home gives us plenty of room to care for your dog as our own. We recognize the responsibility we assume in taking care of your valued family member as well as the trust you are placing in us. Your dog will have supervision while enjoying the full run of our home, a fenced in area of their choosing, frequent walks and our dogs as fun friendly furry playmates.

We have a large property with 2 fenced in yards. In addition to playing in the yard, we love to take the pups on long walks. Your dog will get as much activity as he/she wants and/or needs. In addition to this, we have 6 furry pups just waiting to make friends.

What they eat. When they eat. How they are with their food when eating. Are they on any supplements or medication. Is there anything treat or food wise that they are not allowed to have. A number I can reach you if only to send photos of your dog having fun.
A typical day
Most dogs I’ve watched enjoy long walks, time in the yard and to play. We even have a pool with steps that, with supervision, your dog will be invited to go in. Some dogs just like to spread out and relax. That’s fine too.

My husband, Chris, and I are early retires. With 6 dogs of our own, we don’t stray far from home or them. If we are dog sitting, your dog will never be alone. Someone will always be there.
