I have owned dogs my entire life with my family back at home in California. When I moved to Upstate NY, I adopted two amazing cats. I do most of the grooming for my pets, except baths (my cats get freaked out in the bathtub but are amazing for the groomers). I love all animals, and I believe that each has their own personality and emotions just like humans. Pets are not property, they are important members of the family and create some of the dynamic. My cats have been my world after my life crashed last year. They know when i am upset and know exactly when I need love, but primarily they follow me around crying at me as if they have separation anxiety.
