It is my love of all animals and the joy of helping people that drove my passion to create my own business as a Professional Dog Trainer. I grew up with parents who are passionate animal lovers. They blessed our home with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and fish (not all at the same time ;). I learned at an early age the great joy and love that animals bring to our lives as well as how to care for and respect our treasured family members. This love of animals has been with me my entire life. I am proud to have volunteered many years with the San Diego Humane Society. I completed their Behavior and Training Extern program teaching obedience cues to help dogs become more adoptable. I have also volunteered as a Dog Companion (dog walker) and a Dog Buddy; reinforcing calm behavior, helping dogs overcome fear, and build confidence. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and a member of APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers).
