I have always had a dog throughout my whole life. I love them; their innocence and just willingness to please. My mom used to tell me that dogs have no way to speak. You're their outlet, their voice, their advocate. Because of that, I developed an understand with them and I know how they think, act, and feel. I have a dog of my own back home, and I love her. I often tell friends and family that if a car was coming and a dog was in the street, even a stray, I would run out in a heart beat to save them. I have dog-sitted/house-sitted before, for up to two weeks during Hurricane Harvey in Houston. My own dog has also had surgery for patellar luxation, so I know how to care for a recovering dog. I understand the needs of dogs and anxiety owners may experience while away from their pup, so I'm always communicative on a daily basis with both text and picture updates. People ask me why I love dogs so much and the answer? I would do anything for a dog because they are willing to do anything for us.
