I’ve owned pets of every kind for most of my life and have a special love and connection with dogs. I have often been my neighbors “go to” for pet sitting when something unexpected comes up. I have fostered family members pets for long periods when they were traveling out of country and have taken care of co workers pets when working opposite shifts at the fire department. I also have experience treating animal injuries, taking care of sick animals and giving medication.

Don is kind and trustworthy. I left my two young, rambunctious pups with Don and he sent pictures & videos and let me know how they were doing daily. It’s a good feeling to be able to go away for a few days and know my pups are safe. Thanks for dealing with Petey and Finn, they can be a handful!
We were lucky enough to find Donald a couple of years ago. He lives on 14 isolated beautiful acres, perfect for daily trail walks and forest adventures. Our dog Lulu has stayed with Don for three or four extended stays. The last one was for 10 days in February 2025. This was our second stay for our German Shepard w Don + Luna, and the first time we sent our 10 month old puppy. The care and attention Don gives each dog is unmatched. I truly cannot picture our pups going to a kennel situation, (which is what we considered before we found Froggy Acres.) His updates and pictures of our dogs having an absolute ball in his natural paradise made being away from them bittersweet; we couldn't wait to get back to snuggle them again ourselves! We booked Donald for about 10 days/nights and not only were his rates reasonable, he truly cared about our pups and gave them a doggie vacation of their own. Thank you so much Don and Luna for opening your cozy home to our furry loved ones. They can't wait to see you again!!
Another great stay for Cashman (our German Shepherd) at Don's dog camp. He had such a good time. Don does such a great job with dogs in his care. Cashman got lots of exercise, play time, and loving attention during his stay. He wants us to play another trip so he can go back!

I live off grid on 14 acres at the end of a private dirt road. There is zero danger from traffic or any other hazards. More than a mile of trails are located on the property and many more miles of trails are adjacent to the property for those long walks. There is a small fenced enclosure, a large yard where dogs can run and play, forests and meadows to explore, a pond for those hot summer days and a separate, secure outbuilding for overnight guests. All pets are also welcome in the main house.

A typical day
Located off grid on 14 acres at the end of a private dirt road. Private, quiet and safe environment for your pets. Love to go for long walks on the great trails on and off the property, I have a small pond for water lovers and a large yard for activities. Bring their favorite toys and I promise, your dog will sleep well after a day of walks and play. If your pet is more of an indoor pet, needs special care or is more of a loner, I have a cozy home, fenced area in the backyard and outbuildings where everyone is welcome. Your dog will be supervised 100% of the time.
