Growing up in a large family that always had pets, I’ve learned to love and care for all living creatures. We grew up with cats as young kids (I had my own named Luna that I found on Halloween as a stray), but eventually stepped up our game. My senior year of high school I signed up to raise a seeing eye puppy for the Seeing Eye in Morristown. My family quickly fell in love with our little German shepherd girl and kept up with the program. We currently have two German shepherds from the program that we adopted back, and are raising one for the program to help the blind. More about myself - I am an Officer (O-1) in the US Navy Reserve and work at the local shipyard as a Project Superintendent. Both programs have instilled in me a great sense of responsibility and integrity that can be put forth towards animal caretaking. Additionally, I stay active, which means I can keep up with your energetic furry family members!!
