I currently am attending Animal Behavior College to become a certified dog trainer specializing in protection training. Caring for dogs is truly rewarding to me. I have a dog of my own who is 11 and has diabetes so i'm experienced with giving medications such as insulin injections. At my job, I attend for senior dogs, dogs with disabilities (missing limbs, blind, deaf), young dogs, dogs with medical needs, and also dogs that have behavioral issues. I studied behaviors of dogs before I was hired as a kennel assistant and I notice much more than most people would. I hope to further my education and to someday have a career revolving around dogs because that would be truly fulfilling to my life. I cant wait to meet new dogs!
