Pet care experience
I am a holder of the Animal Activity Licence with the City of York Council (CYC 071797) and a certified Dog First Aider with a true passion for looking after dogs. Please note I will need you to fill in an additional registration form that is a condition of my licence. As a family we absolutely adore having fully vaccinated, friendly dogs staying at our house. We have a large 4-bed house with a fully-fenced lawned garden and a close proximity to open fields for extended walks. Our back garden is a great space for a play, so your doggy will have a freedom of running around whenever they feel like it. It's secure and accessible via a lockable gate.

Couldn’t be happier with Dominika and her service. She is passionate about dogs and this shines through in the care she provides. Our golden retriever Hugo has stayed a few times with her, and her dogs Toby and Willow, and often doesn’t want to come home again with us! ?
Dominika is so friendly and welcoming and her two dogs are lovely. Henry had a lovely time and would definitely highly recommend.

I provide plenty of fresh water, snacks and treats. However, you will need to provide your dog's food for the time of their stay with us. This is particularly important if your dog has a special diet. Please bring their bedding, toys and perhaps a blanket that will remind them of home. We want your doggy to feel nice and relaxed when they come to stay with us.

Please make sure you bring your dogs vaccination record (only fully vaccinated dogs will be accepted) and please let me know if your dog has any additional needs, for example, if they need to be fed from hight or with softened dog biscuits. What are your dog's typical meal times and bed time routine?
A typical day
A typical day will start with a morning walk on the local fields and a breakfast. Our guest dog will be able to play with our resident dogs (Toby and Willow) all day if they wish. Around lunch time I'd have a play with the dogs and give them plenty of cuddles. Their dinner /evening meal will be served around 3pm. The back door to the garden will remain open (weather permitting) throughout the day. The full day of play keeps them happy and well exercised. Evening cuddles on the sofa are also included!

Availability
I currently work from home, with occasional day in the office, and ad hoc meetings I might have to attend with short notice. Our boarding guests have to be able to be left alone for a couple of hours. If your dog suffers from anxiety and needs constant human contact, please let us know in advance, because in such circumstances we will only accept booking requests for weekends. Our boarders get plenty of exercise and cuddles, and are most welcome on our sofa :-)
