Pet care experience
I have an M.A. degree in publishing and work from home as a freelance editor, which affords me a wide-open availability. I am extremely good with both dogs and cats. I frequently stay over at a relative’s who fosters greyhounds (she currently has five large dogs, including one with special needs, and four cats) and care for them. I am very physically active and strong enough to handle very large dogs. I usually run 6+ miles every other day and can care for dogs with large amounts of energy. Lodging at my home is open to negotiation (I currently have two very skiddish cats but can handle calm dogs), but I would prefer to know the dog first. I can sit for and walk multiple dogs, as well. I am extremely flexible as far as scheduling and services provided and can be counted on, rain or shine.

Domenic is a very smart, caring and compassionate person. He loves his own animals deeply. And he will be house sitting my 4 dogs and 4 cats this weekend. Domenic is also very strong and physically capable of handling dogs. I'm most impressed with how hard he's worked on his education, and the fact that he has been certified in search and rescue. Definitely consider hiring Domenic. you won't be disappointed.
I have a Doberman named Jackson, he’s very large and intimidating and a lot of people are afraid of him, but three years ago when I first met Domenic, Jackson walked right up to him and he never even batted an eye. He held his hands out very slowly, let Jackson sniff him, and within minutes they were best friends. I know very few people even now who are that good with dogs. My job takes me out of town a lot and most of the time I can’t take Jackson with me, but Domenic is always my first choice for a sitter because of how good he is with Jackson and also because I know I can rely on him.
Dom is wonderful with pets. I have 3 (very large) dogs and 2 cats and he is great with them. One of my dogs has severe mobility issues and needs every step to be monitored. He is always right there with her, every step of the way. We have 4 different types of food between 5 different animals and several have medications. This is no easy task (lol trust me). He is great at mastering their needs and the directions I give him. He always communicates and sends us updates and pictures. Not only is he a good pet sitter, but he is a good house sitter too. He is always respectful of my home and tidy too. He has no problem grabbing the mail and watering my plants. Overall, A+! We never have to worry when Dom is here and it is wonderful to be so stress free when traveling :)
I have know Domenic our whole lives. As a prior dog handler for the U.S. Navy, I know a passionate and careful dog lover when I see one. Domenic’s love for animals and attention to detail enable me to trust him with my pets while traveling away from home. I would recommend him for the caring of anyone’s pets!
