Hello, my name is D'Lise! I have been working dog, cat, child, and elderly care jobs since highschool in order to pay for college and medical treatments! ***Rover may have my reply times in this app off because I usually exchange phone numbers with my clients and keep in touch through text. I promise I will get back to you in a timely manner!*** My deep love for animals started when I was gifted a puppy that started having devastating seizures and was later diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. After that first seizure, I understood just how hard it can be to entrust sometime to care for your fur baby. Throughout my journey with my own pets and those that I have watched for clients, I have gained a plethora of experience. I love to work with not only healthy animals, but also special needs furry friends. Currently, I have experience with waking, restraining large, medium, and small breeds (during things such as seizures), monitoring seizures, using assistive equipment such as slings and wheelchairs, administering medicine, wound care, kennel training, and potty training pups. I also have experience with cats, reptiles such as snakes and geckos, and fresh water fish and amphibians! I hope I get the pleasure to meet and care for your pets one day!
