Over the past few years, I've immersed myself in the world of house and pet sitting, earning a reputation for reliability, cleanliness, and a responsible touch. One notable experience was house and pet sitting for a senior couple, during their getaway down south. I cared for their two cats, two chickens and managed an intricate bird feeding system daily for the local avian residents who had become very precious friends to the lady of the house. Consistently entrusted with dog-sitting for a couple for a few years, from short weekends to extensive several week long periods, I've become an integral part of their fur-family. They eventually relocated to Oregon. Before my trip abroad they flew me to Portland to care for their dogs, Sana and Osa, and the orange cat, Ninja, during their three-week wedding getaway in Mexico. Adapting to Sana's sensitivity, I was instructed to do daily car trips with the dogs to a nearby cemetery ensuring a peaceful neighborhood environment. I share this to say, I am used to accommodating unique requests to meet your needs. Beyond standard dog and cat sits, I once tended to a rescue crow bird and her two cat companions for a month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In most of these instances I've been responsible for watering plants, as well as picking up mail and sometimes when pets were not the present, I've been entrusted to be that reassuring human presence in the home, turning on the light and keeping things alive.
