I have never been without a dog as a companion in my entire live. Dogs have been a part of my family and life forever. I have been a foster parent in the English Springer Rescue Org of American for the past 10 years; just this past year I fostered five dogs, cared for them post surgery or during heart worm therap. I foster these dogs in my home, rehabilitate them if ill and teach them social skills so they can be adopted out to forever homes. I volunteer as a dog walker, trainer at the Acres of Love Animal Rescue several times a week. I also work several hours a week at the Bulverde Humane Shelter in Bulverde, TX. I currently house and dog sit for a 110 lb Labrador retriever several times a year for a week at a time.
