Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was 17. Have had 2 more since then. Collie, Pomeranian, Dalmatian. Only the Pom was purebred. 8 years old when I got her. Since they passed I have babysat 11 other dogs. All large, except the 2 puppies and 1 small. That was before I started working for Rover. I have now watched an additional 27 pups! I have a huge back yard but unless the dog is familiar with boundaries and listens well, will only take them out on leash. My profile says I take one family at a time. However, if a second family needs me, and there is an overlap of time, I will ask the first family for permission to book the second pup. I try my best to keep pups out of kennels!

Dixie was the kindest, most patient and caring of sitters one could ask for. Sasha had a complete butler service with patience, treats and attention. She (and we) cannot recommend Dixie highly enough. Any pet would be lucky to stay with her!!
Our dog is not easy to watch, but Dixie was went above and beyond. She immediately welcomed Fred into her home and treated him like her own. I really appreciated the updates during his stay, and he honestly didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend Dixie and hope to be able to book again.
Thanks Ms Dixie for taking wonderful care of my Bella. We loved the photos and the updates 😊. Bella was tired when we got home. She is very energetic, and will go outside every time the door is opened. She loves outside. Thanks again

As I said, I haven't any dogs so your pup would have my full attention. If I'm outside, they would be out with me. I prefer not to crate dogs unless absolutely necessary. I do enjoy giving treats but respect dietary restrictions.

I am retired and love being home. I do go to Florida for several months a year but at this point it is not a regularly scheduled trip.
