My husband is the pastor of a local church and I work in the front office at my kids' school. Tim is home on Fridays and typically Monday - Thursday the dogs are home alone from 7:45-4, except during the summer and holidays, when our teenagers are home with them. We have 2 children (16 & 13) and 3 dogs. All 3 dogs are rescue dogs from the Humane Society. They are all rotten! I grew up with poodles and a collie. Shortly after my husband and I were married, we went to WalMart to get a vacuum cleaner and came home with a puppy instead. He was our first baby. A year before he passed, we added our first rescue, Sasha. Sable was adopted the following year for our daughter's birthday and 3 years later, Shiloh joined us. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs. As a kid, I had poodles and a collie. A year after we were married, we rescued a puppy from WalMart. Since then, we have adopted 3 dogs from the Humane Society. I have also fostered for the Humane Society. I think dogs enrich the lives of humans, offering unconditional love and affection. My experience administering medication I am not the least bit squeamish and have no qualms about administering medicine orally or in the ears or on wounds.
