Hi there! My name is Dini, I am passionate about animals and I would love to be your furbaby's home away from home! What makes me a great choice for your petsitting needs is my extensive animal experience, knowledge, and high quality service. When your pet is in my care, I treat them like family, with love and respect as if they are my own 💚 EXPERIENCE I am a pet parent myself (Zoe and I are a package deal) and I have had family dogs and cats all my life. I have provided a loving temporary home for 16 foster animals (dogs and cats) of a variety of ages, sizes, and needs with a local rescue. I have also been petsitting and dog walking for others over the years. KNOWLEDGE My extensive knowledge of pets and their behaviour comes mainly from my time fostering, in addition to having completed: ✅ a pet first aid course ✅ a course on dog behaviour (for humans) ✅ basic obedience training for my own dog ✅ pet therapy training with my own dog 💚 I have worked one on one with dog trainers registered under the Alberta Force Free Alliance to help foster dogs overcome various challenges such as leash reactivity, resource guarding, and separation anxiety, so I am well versed in force free methods + using positive reinforcement. QUALITY CARE I will always go above and beyond to make your pet(s) as comfortable as possible. I will provide them with their regular routine and any specific instructions you give to meet their individual needs. You can expect that they will get lots of exercise through walks/park trips, enrichment activities, and down time to recharge, depending on their preferences and needs. Most importantly, I will shower them with as much love as they'll allow me to give, and send you regular updates on our adventures.
