—Dierdre Dogs have always held a special place in my heart—to say I’m a dog lover is an understatement. I have been a dog owner for the past 20 years of my adult life and have always had multiple dogs in my home growing up. My mom would laugh, shake her head, and then help me find the homes or new homes for strays I would bring home—something I still do to this day. I have had a lot of experience working with dogs—from raising my own, to dog agility classes, working in an animal shelter, attending different levels of dog training courses for my own dogs, and even working one on one with personal dog trainers. Hanging with my paw folks bring me some of the greatest joy! I often pet sit for my friends, partly for me, but also because my little man lost his best friend last year. It warms my heart to see him interact with other dogs and I too enjoy having more paws in the home. The thing is—my dogs have always been like children to me. I know what it is like to have to leave them, how hard it can be for you [and them] to be apart, and the worry one can experience about their overall safety, especially if it’s with a stranger on Rover for the first time. I can assure you, your paw friend will be loved, safe, spoiled, well looked after, and am more than happy to blow your phone up with cute adorable furry smiles.
