I have been around dogs and cats my entire 46 years. My parents got their first Doberman when I was 8 years old and I participated in the obedience training class they took the dog to. At age 11 I got my first Rottweiler(I have proudly owned 3 males in my lifetime). My mother has owned 3 female Rottweilers and I have helped obedience train and care for her 3 dogs as well. I used to pet sit for my parents every summer when they went away for a few days. At one time there were 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house to care for. All considered children of our family. My veterinarian can attest to how well I have cared for my pets. He has been our veterinarian for many years now. I see pets as an extension of one's family. Currently, I cannot pet sit dogs in my home. I can pet sit for your cat if that need arises. I love being around pets and miss the days as a kid when there were 3 dogs in the home.
